Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data is processed, for what purposes, and how long it is kept when you use TangMeo, Typene, the pegasuscool.com website, the website purchase flow and customer support. For personal data whose purposes and means we decide, Pegasus Cool LLC ("Pegasus", "we") is the data controller; the service providers involved may process data on our behalf, and may also process some data independently for their own legal, security or operational obligations.
1. Summary
- TangMeo and Typene contain no usage analytics, crash reporting, license servers or cloud features; the content you process with the apps and the local trial state stay on your Mac and are never sent to Pegasus.
- The website uses no analytics, advertising or personalized tracking, and stores only your language preference in the browser's local storage.
- Website payments are completed on the payment processor's checkout page; Pegasus never receives or stores full payment-card details.
2. Data Processed in Each Scenario

| Browsing the website | IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or user-agent information, response status and other necessary technical data | Website infrastructure | Serving the site, keeping it available, preventing abuse and investigating security or technical issues | Routine logs controlled by Pegasus are kept for 90 days; security-incident logs are kept until the investigation closes |
The retention periods above apply to the copies Pegasus controls. Where providers process data on our behalf, we require them — by contract, by configuration and where practicable — to handle or delete it on our instructions; copies they keep independently for their own obligations follow their own policies. Where applicable law, a payment dispute, a court order or a valid legal hold requires longer retention, we keep the data only to the extent and for the time necessary, and resume the normal deletion cycle once the reason ends.
3. Local Processing in the Apps
The apps' core features run on your Mac; your content is not transmitted for analytics, cloud sync or remote license validation. Some features need macOS permissions, which you can review or revoke in System Settings — features that depend on a revoked permission may stop working. If you enable or trigger an update check, the network request is used only to determine and download the right build and includes none of the content you process with the app; diagnostic data that macOS itself handles under your system settings is not a feature of Pegasus apps.
4. Payment, Orders & License Records
Payment details you enter on the payment processor's checkout page go directly to that processor; Pegasus does not store full card numbers, card security codes or full payment-card credentials, and uses only the necessary transaction data returned by the processor to confirm payment, deliver or resend licenses, handle refunds and disputes, provide after-sales support, and meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations. Pegasus operates no license server; license records are used only for proof of purchase, delivery and after-sales support, never to remotely track how you use the software.
5. Customer Support
The support form is delivered through a third-party form service; you can also write directly to support@pegasuscool.com. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive data in support channels — full card numbers, security codes, passwords, government ID numbers, or private documents unrelated to the issue.
6. Site Storage & Necessary Technology
The website sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and uses only the browser's local storage to remember your language choice. The website infrastructure and the payment checkout page may use necessary cookies or similar technology for content delivery, payment, security and fraud prevention; this website does not use them for advertising or analytics.
7. Purposes & Legal Bases
In regions whose law requires a stated basis, we process data, as applicable, on the basis of: performing a contract or pre-contract steps (purchase, delivery, refunds, support); legal obligations (transaction, accounting, tax or dispute records); legitimate interests (service security, abuse prevention, fault investigation, and protecting the lawful interests of Pegasus, users or others); or your consent. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
8. Legal Requirements & Corporate Changes
To the extent necessary, we may retain or disclose data to: comply with applicable law, court orders or legally binding government requests; handle payment disputes, fraud, security incidents or suspected abuse; protect the rights, property and safety of Pegasus, users or others; establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or carry out a merger, acquisition, reorganization or asset transfer — in which case the recipient may only handle the data under this policy or as separately notified in accordance with law.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable organizational and technical measures, proportionate to the nature and risk of the data, to limit unauthorized access, use, modification or disclosure; data in transit is encrypted where applicable. No method of transmission or storage is absolutely secure; if a personal-data incident requires notification, we will notify you as applicable law requires.
10. Cross-Border Processing
Pegasus Cool LLC is based in the United States, and service providers may process data in the United States or wherever they operate; local data-protection rules may differ from those where you live. Where applicable law requires specific cross-border safeguards, we transfer data only after the required contractual or other lawful arrangements are in place; you can ask about the applicable safeguards through the contact details in Section 14.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on the law where you live, you may have the right to inquire about, access, correct or delete personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive a portable copy, to withdraw consent, or to complain to a data-protection authority. Write to support@pegasuscool.com; we may need to verify your identity, and we will reply within the time limits applicable law sets.
Some data cannot be deleted immediately because of accounting, tax, dispute, security, anti-fraud or other legal obligations; deleting the records necessary for a still-valid license may also leave us unable to resend or verify that license later — we will explain the consequences before acting on your request. If we cannot fully meet a request under the law, we will explain why to the extent the law requires; for data controlled directly by a third party, please contact that provider.
12. Children's Privacy
The website and apps are not primarily directed at children, and no account is required to use the apps. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us without a guardian's consent, contact support@pegasuscool.com and, once confirmed, we will take appropriate steps under applicable law.
13. Policy Updates
Updates are published on this page with a new last-updated date; changes that materially affect your rights or how data is handled will be additionally notified in a reasonable manner as applicable law requires.
