Accuracy and processing speed are at the core of the OCR app experience. As an offline OCR application, PegasusOCR delivers accuracy comparable to Google Cloud Vision, along with processing speeds far beyond those of online OCR apps.

• Supports 12 languages

  PegasusOCR supports 12 common languages: Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, Ukrainian, and Russian.

• Recognize text from the clipboard

  You can skip the capture process by copying the image and performing clipboard recognition. PegasusOCR will automatically recognize all text in the clipboard image.

• Vertical Text Recognition

  PegasusOCR supports vertical text recognition. You can choose to restore the text in horizontal layout or as-is (vertical layout). Vertical restoration is only suitable for short text; longer text may have formatting errors.

Advanced

Automation

For users who need advanced features, we offer an automation module. PegasusOCR can be combined with Apple Shortcuts to perform a variety of automated tasks. For example, it can turn recognized text into audio, automatically translate text into other languages, open Maps to find directions after recognizing an address, open Safari to search for recognized content automatically, convert all recognized English text to uppercase, automatically dial a recognized phone number, create a new file containing the recognized content, and more.

The video demonstrates PegasusOCR’s two built-in automation features: “automatically detect URLs in recognized content and open them when the trigger condition is met” and “automatically recognize QR codes.” If you need other automation features, you will need to create and edit your own “Shortcuts” scripts or contact us for paid customization.
